Sunday School

A solid foundation for life

11am - 12pm Eastern

Christian Science Sunday School starts at the same time as our Sunday service. Children and teenagers up to the age of 20 are invited to learn about God and our relationship to Him.

Lessons include the meaning of the Ten Commandments, the Beatitudes, the Lord’s Prayer, its spiritual interpretation by Mary Baker Eddy, and the Sermon on the Mount.

… for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you. Christ Jesus, Luke 17:21
Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need. Mary Baker Eddy, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, p.494

Find out how the stories and events in the Bible are relevant today! At Sunday School, students learn that Bible stories testify to the nearness of God’s tender care, moment by moment.

A supportive environment

An atmosphere of joy and expectation is fostered and encouraged.

Children are taught together in groups according to grade level. Older classes include question-and-answer conversations on the same topic of that week’s Bible Lesson-Sermon from the Christian Science Quarterly.

Children's Room

Care for babies and children too young for Sunday School is provided in the building next door to the church, which also houses our Reading Room.
